How much does a glass enclosure cost?
From €500/m² installed. Documented benchmark: €500–900/m² depending on the system — sliding, guillotine or frameless — and the surface. We are among the few who publish the price; the exact figure comes in writing after a free measurement.
Sliding, guillotine or frameless — which should I choose?
Sliding for easy opening and a gentler budget; guillotine for verandas and venues where the panel lowers like a balcony window; frameless for maximum views. At the free site visit we look at your openings and recommend the right system — not the most expensive one.
Is the glass safe for children and busy venues?
We only use 8–10 mm tempered glass: in the rare event of breakage it crumbles into small blunt granules, not sharp shards. Profiles and mechanisms are chosen for heavy daily use like that of venues.
Is it worth it financially for my restaurant?
A glass-enclosed terrace works 12 months a year: in winter and rain the outdoor tables no longer sit empty. Typical venue projects (roof + enclosure) run €4,000–15,000 — the payback comes from the extra tables’ turnover, not from savings.
Do I need a roof before the glass enclosure?
Yes — the glass is supported by a structure above: a bioclimatic pergola, a fixed terrace cover or the existing balcony structure. We check this at the free site visit and design the whole thing, so you do not pay twice.
When should I order?
By March–April if you want it ready for summer — installations peak in March–June. For venues we recommend the opposite logic: do it now, and the terrace earns through the whole winter, not just in season.
