KOMBINAT · KINOSTUDIO
Awnings and terrace covers in Kombinat — solutions that work, without inflated prices.
Kombinat and Kinostudio are areas where private houses and older blocks mix with shops and small neighbourhood venues. The request here is practical: shade over the balcony in summer, a cover over the shop door, a fair price. Awnings start from €25/m².

Kombinat’s mixed fabric — every property has its own need
Kombinat’s older houses have courtyards and verandas that the afternoon sun makes unusable from June to September; a folding-arm awning or a simple polycarbonate terrace cover gives the family its courtyard back. These are the jobs we do most often here.
Along the main road and towards Kinostudio, shops and small cafés ask for the same thing at a different scale: shade over the shopfront and over the 2–3 tables outside, at a price a small business can defend. For them, an arm or fixed awning is the answer, not large structures.
SEASONAL CALENDAR
The covered courtyard through the four seasons in Kombinat
A good cover is not just for summer — here is how an awning or cover works all year.
Summer
The afternoon sun is the main reason people call: the folding-arm awning drops with one lever and the courtyard becomes a living space.
Autumn
The first rain tests the fixings: the polycarbonate cover protects the door and balcony without darkening the rooms.
Winter
Awnings retract and fixed structures work on: the yearly check of screws and fabric adds years to their life.
A quality awning fabric lasts 8–10 years in this climate — a cheap one lasts 2–3. The price difference pays for itself.
How we work in Kombinat — simple, with a clear price
The area is 15 minutes from the workshop, so the measuring visit is quick and free. For awnings we bring the fabric catalogue with us: the colour choice happens on site, seen in the real light of your façade.
An awning starts from €25/m², a pergola awning from €1,500 — the exact price comes after measuring, because dimensions and fixing decide it. No additions during the work: what you sign is what you pay.

Common questions about Kombinat
How much is an awning for a balcony?
From €25/m² — a standard balcony works out at a modest cost. For larger courtyards, a pergola awning starts from €1,500. The measuring visit with the fabric catalogue is free.
Will an awning hold the rain?
A folding-arm awning is meant for sun and light rain; in strong storms it retracts. If you want full-year rain protection, a fixed terrace cover or pergola awning is the right solution — we show you the difference at the visit.
I have a shop with a sun-facing window — what do you suggest?
A fixed or arm awning depending on the sidewalk depth: it protects the window display from fading and gives customers shade in front of the shop. For the small venues of this area it is our most everyday job.
When is the best time to order?
March–April: installation happens within days and you are ready for summer. In June–July lead times stretch, because everyone remembers at once.
