WHAT’S INCLUDED
What a sun awning from us includes.
The right awning depends on the balcony, the wind and the orientation — here is what we assess and install:
Awning types
- Folding-arm awning — the classic for terraces and café tables
- Vertical awning — for balconies, shop windows and low afternoon sun
- Cassette awning — the fabric retracts fully, protected from dust and rain
- Greek-style awning — vertical arms, practical for balconies and cafés
Materials
- Acrylic fabric resistant to UV rays, water and fading
- Electrostatically painted aluminium frame, matched to the façade
- Wide choice of colours and patterns — selected together after the site visit
- Arms and mechanisms tested for Tirana’s strong winds
Installation
- Free on-site measurement — we check the wall, orientation and wind exposure
- Secure fixing to wall or ceiling, according to the building structure
- Pitch adjustment so rainwater runs away from the wall
- Optional motor with remote control and wind sensor that retracts the awning itself
Warranty & service
- Real warranty from a local manufacturer — not worthless import paperwork
- Post-installation service: adjustments, re-tensioning, replacements
- Fabric replaceable after years without changing the frame
- Direct WhatsApp contact for anything you need — in English
PUBLISHED PRICE
How much does a sun awning cost?
Most companies in Albania publish no prices at all — you have to call “for a quote”. We do the opposite: the starting price is openly stated here:
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Sun awning (folding-arm, vertical, cassette or Greek) | from €25/m² |
| Motorisation with remote control & wind sensor | free quote with measurement |
| New fabric for an existing frame | free quote |
Documented Albanian market benchmark: sun awnings run €25–43/m² depending on type and size. Your exact price is confirmed in writing after the free measurement — you approve it before any work.
HOW IT WORKS
The 4-step process.
1. Contact on WhatsApp
Tell us the awning type and rough dimensions — even a photo of the balcony is enough for initial advice. We reply in English.
2. Free site measurement
We come and measure, show you fabric samples and leave a written quote — no obligation.
3. Manufacturing
The awning is made to your measurements — frame, fabric and mechanism as you chose them.
4. Installation & testing
We install, adjust pitch and opening, test it together with you and hand over the warranty.
WHO IT’S FOR
Who a sun awning is for.
It is the most in-demand service of this niche — for good reason, because almost every outdoor space needs one:
- Apartments with south- or west-facing balconies, unusable in the afternoon sun
- Cafés and restaurants — outdoor tables only earn when they are in the shade
- Shops and businesses with sun-exposed storefronts
- Expat owners and property managers preparing the property for summer — order by March–April

Questions about sun awnings.
How much does a sun awning cost?
From €25/m². Documented market benchmark: €25–43/m² depending on type (folding-arm, vertical, cassette, Greek) and size. We are among the few who publish the price openly — the exact figure is confirmed in writing after a free measurement.
How long from order to installation?
We are local manufacturers, not importers — usually a matter of days from measurement to installation, depending on workload. In March–June the schedule fills fast: if you want it ready for summer, order early.
Do awnings hold up in rain?
Acrylic fabric is water-repellent and handles light rain — but a sun awning is designed for shade, not as a roof. For full rain protection over a terrace, see the pergola awning or the fixed terrace cover.
Is the motor with wind sensor worth it?
For large or wind-exposed awnings, yes: the sensor retracts the awning automatically in strong wind and protects the mechanism. With a remote you open and close it without going outside. The exact cost is set out in the quote after measurement.
How long does an awning last?
With quality acrylic fabric and proper installation, many years — a cassette protects the fabric even longer. When the fabric fades after years, we replace just the fabric, not the frame, with local post-installation service.
Which awning suits my café or restaurant?
For pavement tables: a deep folding-arm awning, or a pergola awning for larger areas. For balcony-front cafés: a Greek-style awning. Send us a photo of your space on WhatsApp and we will advise you for free.
